Bob Voynow has been a painter since childhood and after studying at the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, PA during the 1970's has been at it ever since, combining his career as an artist with a prosperous picture framing business. Voynow has had several solo shows over the years and currently has paintings on display at the Blue Streak Gallery in Wilmington, Delaware. His primary medium is oil and the two paintings pictured above are typical of his output, primarily favorite landscape and still life subjects rendered in smaller sizes which he frames himself. Voynow is drawn to shapes and forms in nature and how they relate to one another, especially the color values involved that reflect the quality of the light that energizes the subjects in focus.
